Phased implementation of many of the strategic priorities of the Master Plan to significantly expand facilities at this regional tertiary care medical center on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. The building program increased the usable medical center space to 950,000-SF.

Renovation of the first floor in Building 49 transformed existing office and laboratory space into a BSL-2 research area. An open-lab prototype was developed for the project, maximizing the available space while allowing optimal flexibility within the main laboratory area.
