Opened in 1915, this 146,000-SF academic building is the oldest and largest on the Homewood Campus. A major renovation restored the building to its former grandeur while providing modern, upgraded classrooms with technological features. It will be the first LEED certified building on the Homewood Campus and is pursuing Silver certification.

Coppin State University

Providing a major addition to this urban campus, the new 253,000-SF complex includes a state-of-the art sports facility, facilities management/public safety building, and a satellite central utilities plant (SCUP). The project is pursuing LEED Silver certification.
Maryland Institute College of Art

A new academic building provides 61,500-SF of studio, classroom, and office space for the growing art and design technology program at one of the country’s top art colleges. Other major spaces are a fully-equipped 550-seat auditorium and four-story glass atrium.
West Virginia University
Brooks Hall
Morgantown, WV
This renovated and expanded 78,000-SF academic building on the University’s downtown campus houses the Department of Geology and Geography and GIS Technical Center. The interior space was completely reconfigured for offices, computer facilities and laboratories and expansion of the lecture hall to 350 seats.

JPA was Engineer of Record in a named association with the Architect for the comprehensive rehabilitation of the largest college dormitory in the country. The firm designed the replacement of the utility infrastructure and all mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and electrical systems.
